Instructions

  1. Make sure the surface is clean and free of all oils (a cleaner that safely removes grease and oil)
  2. Measure or trace the outside diameter of your reel. Cut the Reel Shield to size. Note: I use a hole punch or an exacto knife or a small sharp pair of scissors to cut around the clicker or harness lugs.
  3. Remove the backing of the Reel Shield.
  4. Have a lightly damp sponge of a mist spray of water damp fingers (so your fingerprints don’t show) wet both Reel Shield and surface adjust accordingly squeegee gently with a credit card to get out the air bubbles.
  5. The two 4"x 6" of Reel Shield can cover most Salt Water reels up a Size Penn International ll 30SW. Another benefit you can use is cutting strips to fit on the outside of the reels ¼", ½" to ¾" strips work excellent to keep it protected.
  6. Last you can remove the Reel Shield around the screws and have maintance preformed and when finished reapply it.   
  7. Bikes and Vespa Scooters( reel shield )2 pieces X 20" 3" wide strips and 1 x 4"x 6" square piece. Protect bottom   and sides of bike frame where they may make contact. Works on Aluminum,Steel,Carbon Fiber.
