Thanks to this product I have applied it to my penn, AVET, and my diawa reels. it really help's  with time because I also have reel covers but it took  up my time when on the boat (Especially when you hear"Fish On!"). All I have to do is grab my rod and reel and start fishing. the protectoin that this product give to my reels is just what is needed when your fighting a big fish, cause you don't need to worry about scaching up your reel. I have bumped,scraped, and even droped my reels on the boat. even when i'm getting my rod and reel out the car I don't worry about my gear because i have the real shield on it!
